Our Appliances

The Green Head Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade is in posession of two firefighting appliances, a Toyota Light Tanker and a Isuzu 3.4 Urban Tanker.

Toyota Light Tanker

The light tanker serves as a fast attack appliance, capable of negotiating most situations likely to be encountered in regional areas. The light tanker is a versatile appliance, having the capability of being used at incidents such as bushfires and structural fires. Light Tankers carry 550ltrs of Water.

Isuzu 3.4 Urban Tanker

The 3.4 Urban Tanker has an operating crew of three (3) and carries the necessary fire fighting equipment to the fireground, where it can be used to pump water from the tank, open water and street mains. The vehicle is suitable for townsite protection, and is ideal for broadacre / rural / bush fire fighting. The 3.4 Urban Tanker carries 3000ltrs of water and is four wheel dive.
